As part of the development of a wind farm located in the municipality of Buseto Palizzolo, in the province of Trapani, Latec S.r.l. actively participated, in collaboration with qualified partners, in the design and construction of a 30/150 kV transformation substation along the 150 kV Alcamo–Custonaci high-voltage line.

The project also included the construction of a 150 kV switching station, essential for managing and optimizing energy flows. All electrical infrastructure was designed and built in compliance with Terna technical standards, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and operational safety.

The substation is dedicated to injecting into the national grid the energy produced by the wind farm’s 11 wind turbines, with an estimated annual production of approximately 55,000 MWh, making a significant contribution to the energy transition and renewable energy generation in Sicily.
